Day-by-Day Schedule
Day 1: Xiamen Gulangyu. Ferry to the car-free island of Gulangyu — colonial villas, piano museum and botanical lanes. Evening back on the island’s famous food streets. Overnight Xiamen.
Day 2: Nanjing Tulou – Xiamen. Drive into the Fujian hills to the UNESCO Hakka tulou — the monumental earthen roundhouses. Visit Tianluokeng ‘four dishes and a soup’ cluster and Yuchang Lou, with a Hakka lunch inside a 700-year-old fortress. Return to Xiamen by evening.
