Day 1: Nanjing. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum on Purple Mountain, Ming Xiaoling’s Sacred Way, and the Ming city wall at Xuanwu Lake for sunset. Night stroll along the lantern-lit Qinhuai River at Confucius Temple. Overnight Nanjing.
Day 2: Yangzhou – Nanjing. Morning train to Yangzhou: Slender West Lake’s willow-lined banks, the elegant Ge Garden, and a legendary Yangzhou foot massage after a dim-sum lunch. Late afternoon return to Nanjing with drop-off.
