Day 1: Changsha – Zhangjiajie. Morning high-speed train from Changsha. Afternoon into Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: Golden Whip Stream canyon walk and the Yuanjiajie sandstone pillars (Avatar mountains) via the Hundred Dragon Elevator. Overnight Wulingyuan.
Day 2: Tianmen Mountain – Changsha. Ride the 7,455m cable car up Tianmen Mountain, walk the glass skywalk, and climb the 99-bend Dragon Road to Tianmen Cave. Evening train back to Changsha.
